(HALIBURTON, ON) – Members from the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) want to remind the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after receiving several reports of thefts of travel trailers in Minden Hills Township.

On June 26, 2015 police were contacted regarding the theft of a travel trailer from an address located on Embassy Drive.

Sometime between June 12, 2015 and June 26, 2015 unknown person(s) attended the address and proceeded to remove the trailer that was parked on the property.

The trailer is described as a white 18 foot 2012 Jayflight trailer with Ontario licence plateJ6038F.

On July 17, 2015 police were contacted regarding the theft of a travel trailer from an address located on Bobcaygeon Road.

Sometime between July 1, 2015 and July 17, 2015 unknown person(s) attended the address and proceeded to remove the trailer that was parked on the property.

The trailer is described as a white 2014 26 foot Trailrunner with Ontario licence plate L1799S.

Anyone having information on these crimes or any others is asked to conttact the Haliburton Highlands OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous information can also be reported to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.khcs.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
