CRIME STOPPERS


and the Kawartha Lakes OPP are asking the public's
 help in solving break and enters and thefts
that occurred in April  2010.


1) MISCHIEFS

-Sometime over the weekend of the 17th to the 18th of April 2010 unknown suspect(s) damaged and stole a number of mailboxes in the Country Lane and Cameron Road areas in the former Fenelon Township. Some of the mailboxes and posts were found in the ditch nearby.

-Sometime overnight from the 19th to the 20th of April 2010 a mailbox on Fleetwood Road was damaged by unknown suspects. This is the 4th time this year that this area has been hit by vandals.


2) THEFTS

-Sometime overnight on the 8th of April 2010 an unlocked vehicle, parked at a residence on Russell Hill Road in Bobcaygeon, was entered and an Apple IPOD Nano was stolen.

-Sometime overnight on the 9th of April 2010 an unlocked vehicle, that was parked at a residence on Moorings Drive in the former Fenelon Township, was entered and a Garmin Touch GPS unit as well as a cell phone were stolen from the vehicle.

-Sometime between the 19th of April and the 20th of April 2010 a number of unlocked vehicles, located on Leaf Street in the former Township of Verulam, were entered and items were stolen. Those items include; change, a Garmin Nuvi GPS unit and cigarettes.

3) BREAK AND ENTERS  

-Sometime from the 14th of January to the 10th of April 2010 unknown persons cut the lock off a shed at a seasonal property located on Raby Street in the former township of Fenelon. Tools and fishing equipment were stolen, included are; a Fenwick Fly rod, Shimano Rod and Reel combo, tan coloured tackle box and contents, Rechargeable Ryobi 18V cordless drill, Craftsman 10" mitre saw, Craftsman ratchet/socket set, Craftsman plier set and a Craftsman box wrench set.

_Sometime from the 7th of April to the 9th of April 2010 unknown person(s) entered a shed on a property on Riverside Drive in Bobcaygeon and stole a 1993 Huskavarna, model 51, serial #2480011, chainsaw with a 50” blade.
