CRIME STOPPERS


and the Kawartha Lakes OPP are asking the public's
 help in solving several recent crimes in the City of Kawartha Lakes.


1) A garage and vehicle were broken into sometime overnight between the 20th and 21st of April 2009. This occurred on Kenver Street in the former Township of Emily. Property was stolen and the back window of the vehicle was smashed.

2) Also in Emily Township during that time, on Clearview Road and on Sunnyvale Lane several unlocked vehicles were entered. Small change and other small items were taken. People are reminded to lock their vehicles when they are parked in their driveway.

3) Overnight from the 21st to the 22nd of April 2009 a vehicle was entered on Evergreen Bay in Omemee. Small change was removed from the vehicle.

4) On Wednesday the 22nd of April 2009 between 8:40 am and 10:00 am the front passenger window of a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire was smashed while parked at the George Hall Public School in Little Britain.

5) T and C Construction reports that 5 bush cords of wood were stolen from their property located on Balsam Lake Drive in the former Township of Bexley. This occurred sometime between the 18th and 19th of April 2009.

6) Sometime over the weekend, 18th to 20th of April 2009, Edgetown Ford in Bobcaygeon had a tonneau cover stolen off of one of the trucks parked in their lot.
