CRIME STOPPERS


and the Kawartha Lakes OPP are asking the public's
 help in solving a number of thefts and mischief
that occurred  in their area.


1) Thefts

-Sometime overnight from Friday (23 May) to Saturday (24 May) unknown person(s) entered two motor vehicles taking a cell phone and money. The thefts occurred on Emily Manor Drive in the former Township of Emily.

-Sometime overnight from Saturday (24 May) to Sunday (25 Oct) unknown person(s) entered a vehicle and stole money from the vehicle. The theft occurred at a residence on Highway #7 between Lindsay Road and Stockdale Road in the former township of Emily.

-Sometime overnight from Monday (26 Oct) to Tuesday (27 Oct) unknown person(s) entered two unlocked vehicles that were parked in a driveway on Windmere Road in the former Township of Eldon. A Nokia cell phone, loose change and the vehicle documents were stolen

-On Sunday (8 Nov) on Charlore Drive, in the former Township of Emily, a homeowner caught a male rummaging in his unlocked truck. The male fled the scene prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as male, wearing a light blue shirt and a black baseball cap.

2) Mischief

-Some time overnight from Saturday (6 Nov) to Sunday (7 Nov) unknown person(s) knocked over at least 4 mailboxes on Cowans Crescent in the former Township of Emily. Residents awoke to their mailboxes knocked over. There was only minor damage to the mail boxes but the home owners were tasked with replacing them on their posts.
