CRIME STOPPERS


and the Kawartha Lakes OPP are asking the public's
 help in solving a number of thefts that occurred  in 
their area during August and September, 2009


1) Thefts

-Sometime over the week of the 21st to the 28th of September unknown person(s) entered the garage of a residence on Rustic Street in Emily Township. The suspect(s) stole a bicycle as well as entering the vehicles in the garage and stole loss change. SP09199350

-Sometime between the 14th and the 29th of September 2009 unknown person(s) stole lawn chairs, planters and a water pump from a cottage on Avery Point Road in Carden Township. SP09200151

-Sometime during the day of the 29th of September 2009 unknown person(s) entered a parked Ford Explorer at Emily Provincial Park and stole an Acer Laptop Computer and a Sony digital camera as well as loose change. SP09202070

-Sometime between the 31st of August 2009 and the 1st of September 2009 unknown person(s) stole an aluminum 20 liter gas tank from a pontoon boat parked at the Sturgeon :Lake Marina. Also stolen were a blue heron lawn ornament and the hat and glasses off of a second lawn ornament. SP09202667

2) Mischief

-On Saturday the 29th of September 2009 at approximately 11:15 p.m. person(s) unknown damaged several vehicles by shooting paintballs at them while they were traveling on Highway 48 in Kirkfield.
